About Fast French

In Fast French classes, beginning students learn to communicate in authentic cultural contexts and to develop the skills needed to interact willingly and fearlessly in French. Classes are highly interactive and engage students immediately in using the language. Students will learn to navigate and communicate in common settings such as cafés, hotels, tourist attractions, transportation systems, and the like.  Many language courses focus on grammar and spelling, leaving students as passive observers who are hesitant to interact with native speakers. In contrast, Fast French uses a natural approach to language learning. Students acquire essential, communicative language through listening, reading and speaking activities. The vocabulary and structures presented are interesting, high-frequency and comprehensible, delivered through collaborative storytelling, picture prompts, action and repetition.
